Avoid and Relieve Musculoskeletal Disorders with the Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique is a method that teaches you to use your body more consciously, helping you identify harmful movement and tension habits, to prevent and alleviate musculoskeletal disorders.

It is based on three principles: preventing harmful habits, re-educating the use of the body through awareness of actions, and coordinating the mind and body, respecting the body’s natural movement.

To apply it, guided practices are used that you can integrate into both your daily routine and your work environment, thus promoting greater well-being and efficiency in your everyday activities.

You will work on applying a neutral posture, both sitting and standing, to reduce tension in the neck, back, and limbs, improving ergonomics during clinical procedures.
  • You will also develop the ability to prevent musculoskeletal injuries through postural self-management, incorporating specific exercises that allow for progressive and effective posture re-education. The impact of breathing on posture and stress control will be addressed by applying techniques that optimize body coordination and physical resilience throughout the workday.
  • In addition, you will explore how to integrate the principles of the Alexander Technique into various contexts, not only in the clinic but also in everyday activities, with the obj
